Activity 4 – ”Discovering the golden number”
Bring a square sheet of paper and fold it in a half. Make a fold in order to have the diagonal of one triangle. Make another fold to have two triangles with congruent angles. At the end, make one least fold to emphasize the golden rectangle. Measure the sides of the rectangle and do the division of the measure.

Now, try to measure in the same way, the sides of a card and make the division.

Activity 5 – “The golden number in art”
Find the golden rectangle in the pictures
Pictures of: Gioconda, Vitruvian Man, Venut of Botticelli and the logo of Apple with the golden rectangle already in it and measure the sides with a ruler, write them in the table and make the divisions.
Look at the last column of the table, what can you see?
